I am truly enjoying your site about all things Yerba Mate! I have been a lover of yerba for the past ten years and a writer since the age of twelve. I must admit that meeting yerba mate has changed my life. Mate has allowed me the stamina and mental clarity needed to keep on keeping on when the writing has gotten tough. I am an avid lover of a variety of teas but there is something so very special about yerba that I can't see a day without it.

It is my all natural energizer, mental clarity booster, and daily dose of natural occurring minerals and vitamins that no one should go without... and its legal!

When I met you the other day, Jim, I was intrigued when I saw your business card for the Yerban Legend website. When I mentioned that I too, am a true believer in the tea, and have been drinking it daily for more than three years, you shared the notion that it seems to be popular among writers. Hmmm. Perhaps that explains how I wrote more than 260 pages of a draft for my first book in less than two months, with no writers block whatsoever! I also have noticed that around 4 each afternoon, when in the past I would find myself becoming drowsy or not very productive, now I am zipping along at whatever I may be doing, not having any symptoms of "lazy brain" or low energy. I swear by the stuff as keeping me healthy, not being sick for more than one or two days since consuming the brew. Glad to know there are others out there like me!
