This blog is published just for yerba mate enthusiasts. If you already know about yerba mate – congratulations! If you don’t, this is your chance to learn about it. Please take a look at the “What is Yerba Mate?” page that describes the plant, the product, the customs, the pleasure and the benefits of this healthful South American herb beverage.
In my travels throughout the United States and South America, I have personally experienced many ways of using yerba mate. If there is one thing I have learned for sure – there is no right way and no wrong way to enjoy this magnificent infusion. Your methods and customs are just as “correct” as any other user’s.
I invite you to share your experiences. You will be assisting other users, both novices and connoisseurs, to more fully comprehend and appreciate the mate experience. Every opinion and experience is valuable and you are the expert! Your unique observations just may answer a lingering question asked by a fellow enthusiast.
I have many goals for this blog. I plan to introduce new topics frequently and seek comments from users. This collective sharing of information will eventually provide all of us with new insights and even more enjoyment.
One of the goals of this blog is to take a serious look at the mysteries – or “urban legends” – about yerba mate. We will examine these yerban legends in depth. Your comments can help to support or dispel these legends.
Finally, I will not attempt to duplicate information that is already available on numerous yerba mate websites; however, I will provide links to the best websites for your study and reference.
Let me hear from you.
Salud!
